Reading formats

Choose a reading format by the task in front of you: following new articles, working through a book, or maintaining a collection of useful references. Start with the RSS workflow when incoming material needs a clear route into your reading queue. Choose the EPUB and ebook article when you need to preserve a position, a passage, and the thought that made it important. Keep the source's identity visible throughout either process, including the particular edition or version you inspected.

After establishing a routine, test the handoff between your reading environment and your lasting notes. Select a few examples and check what you can find without relying on memory. For feeds, retain the reason an article belongs in your collection. For books, pair the marked location with a chapter or section clue. Use the articles below to make those transitions deliberate, then simplify any step that does not help you return to the material.
